Our dear customer lost her brother to cancer earlier this year. She came to us with clay fingerprints with the hope to make them last. Creating this memorial pendant was an honor and we knew casting it in sterling silver would be timeless.The Process:
We first started the process with a r.t.v mold (silicon based). Once that set, we used a lost wax casting method which dates back to Egyptian time. The last step was casted the piece in sterling silver. We completed this keepsake with a hand-engraving tribute.
