I went here for an appraisal of my diamond engagement ring. Received friendly and efficient service. The appraisal fee was a little under other shops in the same area. The place was inviting, classy rather than flashy, and seemed like a no-pressure atmosphere. When I am in the market for a new piece I will definitely be going back.

I love my ring. I’ve always wanted to design a ring for myself. When my grandmother passed away my mom wanted me to have her wedding ring. It had 5 small diamonds in it (my birthstone). I went to Malka Diamondsand met David and Stuart. We worked together and designed the most beautiful ring. It has the 5 diamonds in it, plus three birthstones (my mom, dad, and brother & sister-in-laws). Stuart listened to what I wanted and made suggestions and together we came up with the perfect ring (and it’s sentimental too)… What I wanted, I got! I really liked David’s sales style. I was looking for a diamond engagement ring and had visited many stores. There are many sales men out there anxious for you to buy their diamonds. David was really relaxed and let the diamonds sell themselves. As a gemologist David was really helpful with selecting a diamond. He helped layout all the information that I needed to know and gave me some insight into how to compare diamonds. I highly recommend Malka Diamonds.

“These guys are fantastic! I had an appraisal of a fairly expensive diamond done a year ago, and paid a very reasonable price. I needed another appraisal done recently. They were great, spent about half an hour talking to me about diamonds in general, and how to sell this one if I wanted the best price. Even though they knew I was not going to buy anything right then, they spent all this time, and were very polite, courteous, and professional. Never once did I feel rushed. And did the second appraisal for free! They very honestly told me they do not like to deal in used jewelry, precious metals, or whatever, and directed me to places that would give better prices for anything I wished to sell locally. They could have just low-balled me on the diamond, tried to buy cheap. But they didn’t. If/when I buy any diamonds in the future, these are the folks I am going to.”
