All appraisals and design work are all done on-site, in-house by our professional staff. THE MALKA TEAM: Malka Diamonds is locally owned by the husband and wife team David and Ronnie Malka. David is a 3rd generation diamondteer, a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America and one of only a handful of graduate gemologists in the greater Portland area. As founder of Independent Gemological Services, He’s a recognized local authority on gem identification as well as diamond and color stone grading, with more than 12 years’ experience as an independent diamond purchaser and jewelry appraiser for retail and wholesale businesses throughout the Northwest.

Ronnie brings to Malka Diamonds an exceptional, informed background in customer service and an honest, enjoyably refreshing female perspective. She’s a wonderful personality, a friendly face and confidante, and simply put, her relaxed, understated personality makes every experience pressure-free and memorable.

Joining Dave and Ronnie in Malka Diamonds’ custom design services is the man behind the bench: Stuart Milne, a Scottish-trained goldsmith and craftsman with 50 years experience in custom jewelry design and hand-fabrication.
